Children and Youth Farm Visit                             

Sunday, Oct. 14th 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. 

All children and youth are invited to Clinton Sease Farm. There is no charge for this event.

Fun Activities: corn maze, hayride, and campfire

Food: Hotdogs, chips, s’mores, and drinks         

The youth will have a MYF lesson prior to leaving.  


Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat

Sunday, Oct. 21, 2018

4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Fun Activities:

• Trunk or Treating (Wear your Halloween costume)

• Pumpkin decorating

• Interactive games

• Prize wheel

• Hotdogs, chips, and snacks

• Bouncy house with slide

We will be giving away FREE Halloween bags for collecting candy! 


Church family: We are collecting candy donations. A drop off box is located in the conference room. 

Operation Christmas Child

The Youth will be handing out empty Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes to our church family to fill and return. We will have an information table in the Narthex on Oct. 21st, Oct. 28th, and Nov. 4th. Please stop by our table to learn how you can help us with this ministry.

Children's Ministry 

Sunday School - Join us as we learn about God and what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ today! Each week we’ll hear an exciting Bible story, build scripture memorization, watch an animated Bible story, and complete an engaging activity that ties into the Scripture-filled lesson.  We use Deep Blue Kids curriculum (Click here for more information). 


Upcoming Sunday School lessons: God's Family, Jesus Creates a Family, Jesus and the Children, Family Blessings, Joseph and his brothers, Moses and his sister


Children's Time  (during the Worship Service, immediately following the Children's Message).  Children's Time follows a format similar to Sunday School.  


Upcoming sessions and lessons: Oct 7th (Samuel Anoints David), Oct. 14th (David the Musician), Oct. 21st (David and Goliath), and Oct. 28th (David and Jonathan)


Caring Cards  - Join us as we create beautiful cards for our church family and people in our community.

Oct. 7th - Jr. and Sr. High Split MYF

Oct. 14th - Short combined lesson before trip to Clinton Sease Farm 

Oct. 21st - Short combined lesson before the Fall Festival

Oct. 28th - Jr. and Sr. High Split MYF

**The Jr. high group uses Groove curriculum and the Sr. high group uses Vital Skills curriculum. Lesson details are emailed to parents each week. 


Golden Hearts

Tues., Oct. 2nd - Meet in the Activity Building at 10:00 AM for Favorite Gospel Hymns. We will be singing favorite gospel hymns the group has chosen. Please bring a covered dish to share at our luncheon following the singing.
